Aesthetic Learning through a Child’s Painting
The International Museum of Children’s Art has a fantastic archive of powerful pieces by young people. This painting of a musician and dancers by Ng Shu Ying struck me. I think what I love the most is that if the musician is on the stage holding the instrument in a manner that renders it unplayable, it suggests they are all dancing to some higher unheard song.
