
To Dabble in Data Science, All You Need is Paper and Colored Pencils
Forget computers and gizmos, for the moment.
Now THIS is what I call “drawing” conclusions. (Eye rolls, laughs, swipes–I know.) Called Observe, Collect, Draw, it’s a visual journal: part coloring book, part data science curriculum. I love the fact that the creators boil down the heart and soul of systematic data collection and visualization to its analogue origins. If you are in a science, social studies, or art class, this is really worth checking out to see how it might creatively jibe with your work.
